While we wait for Nelson City Council to issue both the 223 and 224 certificate (223 being acknowledgement by NCC that all work on stages 7 & 9 works are complete, and 224 being final sign off to allow us to apply for the new titles), we are pushing on in two directions.
Pushing up the right hand (eastern ) side of the property, we are bringing in the balance of stage 8 sections on both sides of the new road.
Up the left side Homestead Avenue is being extended to encompass stages 11 & 12. There is again a ton of earthworks to complete to ensure all sections are fully completed to a very high standard and are geotechnically compliant. For our buyers that means foundation/raft floor straight on the ground with no additional costs.
On the very left at the base of the hill work continues with fill in the disposal site with a newly formed waterway, rock lined and re-grassed along its banks.
Sections are selling well with only around 3 or 4 left in stages 7 & 9, and half of the sections in stages 8 & 13 already under contract.
